Here's another organization post for those of you that have enjoyed the last two. This one will be short and sweet, I promise. I personally do not use a lot of stickers and diecuts because I LOVE my stamps. Stickers quickly get used up and there are rarely enough of what I need. With diecuts, I never seem to have what I need and I hate to buy and stock pile just because something is cute. My stamps can be used over and over again and if I need a diecut, I can cut what I need with my Cricut. I do LOVE rub-ons though.
To organize these things, you need to first follow the sorting steps outlined in Organizing Your Paper. Once you have weeded out the stickers, diecuts and rub-ons that you think you will no longer use, you need to develop a way to sort the rest and store them. I opted to put them into the bags with the papers that I thought they would best go with. Any birthdayish things went in the Birthdays bag. Holidays went into their corresponding bags, etc. This didn't take long because the filing system was already in place. When I am scrapbooking, I grab the bag that I need for paper and it already has some embellishments with it, making it so easy to put pages together quickly. Hope you are enjoying a much more organized scraproom! A
